New Year, Fresh Start!
We hope that you had wonderful New Year holidays and entered 2018 with renewed energy and high motivation. This year will be very important for the Dream City Project and all the people that are waiting impatiently for its start. We are totally determined to keep our New Year’s Resolutions. In order to get that plan accomplished, we have introduced important changes to our sales strategy that we would like to update you on.
As you know, we opened our Sales Office in Sosua last September and launched our pre-construction sales. We have interviewed a lot of people and given hundreds of presentations in different places throughout the North Coast and the Dominican Republic in general. The feedback that we received was genuine enthusiasm and keen interest.
The first stage of our sales pilot here was so successful that it came to the attention of the Central Bank who currently owns the titles to this land. Although our buyers placed their downpayments in an escrow account which we don’t control, the Central Bank asked us to hold off on sales until the land contract is completed with them, which we expect to occur in April.
Part of our pre-construction sales deal was to offer a sizable discount and we’re now being asked if those discounts will be available once the construction starts. The answer is: We are currently reserving 100 units to either local or foreign buyers and the advantage of this is to lock in the current pre-construction discounted pricing. So come in and talk to us before they’re all gone!
Where do we go from here?
That brings about an important update of our sales strategy. We are currently refocusing our energy and marketing efforts internationally. Dream City is now establishing an international network of realtors to sell our properties. At this time we have estimated that all 3,000 units will all be sold within 3 years.
