The 8th edition of The International Tourism and Adventure Trade Show will start this Wednesday. This is an international exhibition where the tourism industry of the North Coast promotes the destination to industry professionals from different source markets around the world. The event will make an extraordinary contribution to the development and growth of the tourism industry of the region.

The fair is a combination of travel products and business networking opportunities. It will take place at the Convention Center of the Blue Jacktar Hotel, from the 18th to the 20th of September, 2019. More than 300 professionals from all over the world will meet at this annual assembly.

The Inaugural Cocktail will be held on September 18, at the Senator Puerto Plata Hotel. Moreover, the closing party will be on September 19, with the “Saborea Puerto Plata” cooking show, at the beach of the Sunscape Hotel at the Playa Dorada complex. Finally, the program will conclude on September 20 with a business round in the morning. Furthermore, there will be a lunch break “Saborea Puerto Plata” at the Playa Dorada Golf Club.

This international fair has become an ideal setting. As every year, it promotes accommodation and complementary proposals offered by Puerto Plata and other destinations in this incredible country. This edition will be dedicated to the promotion of sustainable tourism and adventure. With a perfect combination of nature, culture and history, it will expose the wide and varied touristic proposal from this area. In other words, it will show the Northern region as a complete destination.

In previous editions, the fair has been a great success. This year, visitors will come from more than 20 countries. So, it is expected the addition of new source markets to the zone. This demonstrates that the tourism industry continues to project positively. As well, that this region is a place with great potential for tourism investments.
